All lakes are now closed until February 1st 2012
I have been asked by the farmers who own the lakes
to point out to all anglers
to treat fish caught with care and respect
and responsible anglers to keep a careful watch of
anyone who they consider are not acting this way.
Also there was a considerable amount of litter
left around the lakes last year.
It doesnt take much of an effort to
bag up your litter and either
deposit it in the bins provided
or take it home with you.

We get asked a lot about night fishing and the answer is
that only syndicate members are allowed to night fish no exceptions, sorry.
Can we remind you to fill in all areas of the day ticket when
you visit the fishing hut to pay and make sure that you have
the counterfoil with you for inspection.
Also remember that this should be the first thing you do
before you even decide which swim you want to fish.
If some one enters the lake who has been up to the fishing
hut and paid and chooses a peg where your tackle has been left before
you have paid then he has the right to that peg.
There is no excuse for saying "I was going to go up and pay in a minute" !
A recurrence of this practice will lead to a season ban.
Bait boats are not allowed on any of the lakes.
In our absence if there is anything you see going on that is disruptive or distructive
